Joey Votto ranks fifth among first basemen with 83,272 votes. He trails the Braves’ Freddie Freeman (633,342), the Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo (248,275), the Giants’ Brandon Belt (162,750) and the Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger (113,392). Freeman leads all NL players in votes.
Voting began June 1 and continues until 11:59 p.m. July 5. The All-Star Game will be played July 17 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
