Officials said they responded to the local hospital around 1:20 a.m. after the victim arrived.
Police then searched the area of Cincinnati and Stewart streets where the shooting reportedly occurred.
Their findings at the scene or details on possible suspect leads were not immediately available.
The victim’s name and condition were not released.
