A flood advisory has been issued for Logan, Champaign counties

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Logan County until 3:30 a.m. A tornado warning that was previously  issued for Champaign County has expired.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms still possible early. Some dry time with mostly cloudy skies. The severe threat diminishes. Overnight lows in the upper 60s. The chance for a few showers arrives by sunrise.

Monday: We will have another warm and muggy day for Monday with some scattered showers and a few thunderstorms possible. Flooding is the primary threat with some gusty winds possible. Highs for the day will be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will come again on Tuesday. The threat of severe storms is very low, but heavy rain may lead to flooding in areas saturated by days of rain. Highs for the day are in the middle to upper 70s.

Wednesday: It will be partly sunny, warm and humid with the chance for afternoon/evening showers and storms. An isolated stronger storms possible with gusty winds and heavy rain. Highs will be around 80 degrees.

Thursday: More showers and thunderstorms arrive for Thursday. Once again there is a higher threat for flooding and potentially some strong wind gusts. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Friday: It'll be partly sunny and warm with temperatures near 80 degrees.
