FallFair Arts Festival

The 13th annual FallFair Arts Festival will feature over 50 local and regional juried artists working in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, woodworking, glass and metalwork. The fest will also feature local performing arts groups in music and theater, a children’s art tent, the Arts Alliance Painters, and a community art-making project where every participant is encouraged to create a small self-portrait for a collage to be displayed in the near future. Mason Community Band

This traditional symphonic band comprised of greater Cincinnati musicians will perform a series of show tunes, Sousa marches, and other popular songs at the FallFair Festival, Cottell Park, 5847 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, on Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. There is no admission cost. Alison Kraus

This songwriter/fiddler is credited with renewing American interest in bluegrass music with her contributions to the “O Brother, Where Are Thou?” and “Cold Mountain” movie soundtracks. Broadway Princess Party

Hardcore Disney fans won’t want to miss this special show where three Broadway actresses (occasionally accompanied by a Prince) belt out the songbooks of Cinderella, “Beauty and the Beast’s” Belle, and “Aladdin’s” Jasmine. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their best royal attire, and VIP ticket-holders will have a meet-and-greet with the Broadway stars. Marvel Universe LIVE: Age of Heroes

For those who can’t wait for the next Marvel movie, check out this live-action adventure where the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange race against their arch-nemesis, Loki, to obtain the mystical Wand of Watoomb. “Assassins: The Musical”

This Stephen Sondheim production is a comic musical revue of U.S. presidential assassins (successful and not). After originally appearing off-Broadway in 1990, it was revived on Broadway in 2004, where it was nominated for seven Tony Awards, winning three (including Best Revival of a Musical). Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 

It has long been known that only Germany itself does Oktoberfest better than Cincinnati. In addition to copious amounts of German food and a wide variety of beers, enjoy annual attractions such as the Running of the Wieners, the celebrity-led Chicken Dance, the live music, and much more. Check it out on 2nd and 3rd streets between Elm and Walnuts streets in downtown Cincinnati on Sept. 21-23. “Boeing Boeing”

Set in the 1960s, this farce concerns a bachelor engaged to three stewardesses, none of whom know about each other. Disaster strikes when all three arrive in the same city at once. Unsurprisingly, this comedy is French in origin, and holds the Guinness world record for the most-performed French play in the world. The English-language version recasts the bachelor as an American living in Paris. See it at the Lebanon Theatre Company, 10 S. Mechanic St., Lebanon, on Sept. 21-30. William Shatner Live
