Canadian auto company buys Centerville site for nearly $2M

A Canadian auto parts supplier with a Middletown location just spent $1.75 million on industrial property in Centerville.

Local property records show that Booker Assets LLC paid that amount for a nearly 150,000-square-foot manufacturing and assembly building at 115 Compark Road. Nearly 10 acres of land was part of the purchase.

The seller was CGS Properties LLC.

The mailing address for Booker Assets is 1701 Reinartz Blvd., the same address as ADS (Advanced Design Solutions) Manufacturing, located in Middletown, run by Mark Booker.

ADS also has a presence in Ontario, Canada and in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. The auto parts supplier invested $10 million and created nearly 180 jobs in Lawrenceburg in June, according to Tennessee officials.

A message seeking comment was left for Booker Monday.

Booker, who is the president of ADS, has invested actively across the area. In early 2018, he bought the former Springboro distribution center of MCM Electronics for nearly $3.7 million. At the time, Booker said he could use the newly acquired building at 405 S. Pioneer Blvd. to expand his Middletown business or as an investment property.

At the time, Booker’s company had about 30 employees in Middletown.

“I am concerned that the building I have in Middletown may not satisfy my needs long-term,” Booker told this news outlet in January 2018.
